I think that once people get to a good look at Wes Clark, the man, they will fall for his Q magic and then discover everything else that he is offering us as a potential President. This is no lightweight now, that's for sure. Although the cable triplets are attempting to marginalize Clark, he just keeps on the campaign trail. I believe that his campaign is just now hitting it's stride. They have been clever at marketing him however. I am noticing how he seems to pop up in the most unusual places, like the great 7 pages GQ article he has in the December issue. My husband gets that magazine. Boy was I surprise to see "General Electric" as they dubbed him in a full color spread getting off of an airplane. It's all good, I say!
Posted by Frenchie at November 27, 2003 04:18 AMYou know. It is really sad that MSNBC tried to link Clark's having faith to saying this somehow violates separation of church and state. That is Clark's first amendment right. I will not let MSNBC get away with trying to put that link in there because I have heard Clark say twice that he supports separation of church and state. The GOP wants to own religion. Well, they can't. If we are Dems, then we can have faith if we so choose and Clark can have faith if he so chooses. I resented MSNBC saying we Dems are anti-religious. Is Carter anti-religious? Is Sharpton anti-religious? Why did MSNBC let that go?

Posted by Alexandra at November 27, 2003 10:06 AMThe level of coordinated attacks from all sides against Wes Clark show me that he is the one 'THEY' really fear.
And will someone please tell Bush to stop wearing the flak jackets already?!? His level of pandering to the PR spindoctors is sickening. I smell another 'Mission Accomplished' fiasco brewing. Methinks Karl Rove is cracking up.
Posted by Dakota at November 27, 2003 10:25 PMI don't know what Bush thinks he looks like in those costumes all the time, but I am going out to get that "Gentleman's Quarterly" today. They have "General Electric" in there! WOW
