I am not an intellectual,or brilliant person, so I am not going to write any profound and great thoughts. When I saw Clark, I knew two things. I knew that I wanted Bush out and I knew that Clark was one fine looking hunnk or man, whose face I would much rather see coming from the Oval Office.
I like that lethal smile. So I gave him all the money I could for his campaign. Well guess what, after listening to him, I find out that he really is the best candidate. This man has the true leadership, sincerity, and concern for America that is necessary to help us. Given his military background, he is the best alternative to any other candidate. Nobody else can beat Bush.
I wouldn't look forward to a Dean/Clark ticket. I'd be disappointed in Dean for offering the VP slot (politics as usual) and in Clark for taking it (he'd be more effective in another role).
Posted by David Sewell at December 17, 2003 11:18 PMSomething to remember and it should be more emphasized among Democrats: if another terrorist attack should take place on U.S. soil in the coming year (the administrationīs great trump-card), Wesley K. Clark is the ONLY candidate who can stand up to the Bush regime in showing leadership and solutions. Howard Dean would be bulldozed in a second with his anti-war-stance in such a situation.
Posted by Kim at December 18, 2003 01:10 AMClark is doomed! The real issue is not tribal extremism, it is the Yellow Moon... our livelyhoods will be sucked up by workers who don't make much more than $4.80 for a days work. Lets see him address the inevitable as he has no experience in world economics.
Posted by Nadia at December 26, 2003 02:59 AMJust getting back to Nadia who commented a couple of weeks ago:
"Lets see him address the inevitable as he has no experience in world economics."
Hmm, not that he knows as much as George Bush, but he did study economics at Oxford at the post-graduate level and went on to teach political economy (look it up) at West Point.
As a 35 year old Major, he worked in the White House for Paul O'Neill in the Office of Management and Budget.
Of course that was many years ago. However, I'd say compared to most governors he has a running start on "world economics."
How are you on the devaluation of the yuan?
Posted by Ron at January 15, 2004 07:40 PMA "Dean-Clark" administration would be utterly ridiculous!! Why waste Clark's outstanding knowledge just for him to be second best to Dean? Clark has much more experience than Dean in many fields. Allowing Dean to be president would put America in a very scary position since he has no knowledge of war or military studies. He would get us all killed because of his military ignorance. Clark is too outstanding to hide in the shadows. He needs to show America what a real president is!
