Comments: "Nervous Nellies": Amy Sullivan on why Bush's Millions don't ensure re-election

Ah, the economy is up? Well, the job hemorrhage has stopped - temporarily, but the numbers are deceiving. How many workers are unemployed is just one symptom of the mess. Another symptom is how many have stopped looking for work (discouraged workers) and how many are underemployed. How many former engineers and managers are now managing McDonalds? Additionally, Bush is "creating" jobs...but these jobs are not equal to the jobs lost. Jobs being created are service industry, low paying, no benefit jobs for the most part being touted as "job creation" while jobs lost are outsourced engineering, management and skilled labor jobs - jobs with higher salaries and benefits. A job does not equal a job. We need to remember this next fall when we vote...Clark or Bush...I'll take Clark any day!
